YMML Control deac

Just curious - is this normal, especially for one of Aust's main airports:

No, it's not normal - presumably a staff shortage. Normal services have resumed:

Oooh, err that'll do it if nothing else will in getting a tower cab vacated in a hurry!

I wonder what they are. "CTAF procedures apply" would have been more appropriate. AsA should have created a remote AFIS from Karratha.

So does the fire alarm trigger a jump down the slides? Do I have right that there are slides, or is that Sydney?
