Don't be silly. Next you'll be spreading rumours that they're starting a whole new airline at lower wages and conditions just to undercut QF mainline.

Isn't that what Express Ground Handling was meant to do. Are they now deemed to be too expensive?

Heared a rumour its to be called Qantas airport services Pty Ltd. Set up to handle QF ramp and customer service on lower conditions than the current contracts.

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is contracted to look at every aspect of QF operations and find ways to reduce costs. This new ground handling company sounds like one of their ideas, just like the hiring of a North American company to fly B767 freight operations SYD-AKL-CHC-SYD in lieu of mainline crews and aircraft.

And the "who used to work for Boston Consulting Group" for $200 is?

Bruce Buchanan, our little boy from Jetstar who in the course of less than 12 months has managed to piss off just about every Jetstar staff member.

Bruce, it's about PEOPLE. GET IT!

Too young, too much ego, and surrounded, like AJ, by arselickers of the worst extreme.

Get out there amongst your people and talk to them for farks sake and stop listening to the people who never set foot on the floor. They are, and will always be, the problem.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing particularly new, if true.

QF has reviewed groups like SATS (Singapore), HAECO (Hong Kong), and the Lufthansa offshoots over many years.

MATS even existed in QF for a while.

Makes sense to re-run the ruler from time to time.

Fundamental rule of planning is to revisit assumptions.

Now, as to whether anything actually emerges..
