QF to drop some US flights

As of the 25th October 2009 QF will be dropping 3 flights a week to the USA.

QF15/16 BNE/LAX on Mondays
QF25/26 AKL/LAX on Wednesdays
QF73/74 SYD/SFO on Sundays

This is due to 4 x 744's being parked over the Northern Winter schedule.

With the arrival of more A380's will increase the following

* 2 additional SYD-SIN-LHR from July
* 1 additional SYD-LAX from July

* 2 additional LHR from Nov
* 3 Additional SYD-LAX from Nov
* 1 Additional MEL-LAX from Nov

Another thread covers the increase in A380 flying.

Are the 400's being "parked" or a reduction in utilisation?
