Mr Fixit, don't you worry your feeble little mind the right men were chosen for the job. I have it on good authority that the wheat has been sorted from the chaff, we need leaders to incept this great bird of the sky not out of touch bumblers, I know the names but will not reveal them here, the majority are men who deserve it plus one or two idiots to keep the union off QF's back.

Suffice to say no real union men made the cut, ha ha gotta love payback

Not announced

I'm led to understand that the names are not public knowledge at this stage due to an alledged appparent case of "manipulation" by the company to include a "chosen one" in breach of the agreement on apraisal scoring to which the Assn. are obviously not impressed.

J.V

I'd be very intrested in just who the "idiots" are.
Substantiate your comments.

What are the minimum requirements to be considered for 380 training.
Do they have a minimum criteria or is it make it up as you go along

Bumpboy as I said I am not going to mention names at this time, that could enable the union to do something about who has been rightfully chosen.

What I can say is that is only one union guy is on the list and that is because he's a switch hitter, the others were creativly removed from the decision process in fact one was set aside and not even considered boo hoo. The Internationals and Domestics who had high employment status scores were suitably factored out of the equation also.

Course selection is a company right that should not involve the union afterall we do not want the process to be fair we want it to be right for the company to move forward.

Are you serious???

Qantas actually want to move on!

Anyone with ideas like yours within QF be warned, your days are numbered.

Lets hope in 5 years time we no longer have to read this rubbish.

No threat pretty boy

Tulla to JHAS and MAS

Brisvegas 767s to JHAS and SIA

Scabalon to SIA and HAECO

Hevay Maint down the tube Geoffs letter said it all

Next theyll put me in charge of line after they get rid of Rolf then I'll have some real fun, I may even make a video................
Now how much of that has come to fruition?

Gotta question the credibility of this obvious troll.

Re-Inventing The Wheel

Why is it that something that was simple and understood by all has been over complicated. Yes sometimes you missed out but eventually you were trained.

If only QF training returned to the days of an on going basis and not based on things like "quotas", etc, and return to the days of a LAME being a LAME and each department being able to tackle any type of aircraft.

I see alot of time, energy and money wasted on this.

More than bite them, it will fail, just as the A330 crews have failed.

Well Johnny V makes a return I thought you were dead and buried after the flogging you copped in the EBA stoush, once again making a name for yourself as a scab.
In regards to who has been chosen or not I've seen a notice from the ALAEA and I think it says it all.
It seems we, the ALAEA and QF simply move from one battleground to the next, well good luck JV by hell you're gonna need it, we're not the wet bus tickets we once were, the spine is back and it is here to stay.

Where's JV???

I hear there has been a "change" to the list of candidates selected in response to the "manipulation" of the process to include the chosen one??

Not sure if that will satisfy the Assn though.

Give us your slant Johnny.

#$%@&! ALAEA sticking their noses in again where they don't belong due to their interference six of the 'right guys' missed out on course A380.

And yes I couldve been one of them but I wasn't, I don't live in that $hth0le I will be waiting for the Sydney slots where the ALAEA won't get a look in.

PC and SP have a lot to answer for but not too worry next time the criteria will be made to fit the candidate according to the DMMs that is the same mistake will not be made twice.

Speak up JV

Well now the eight have been chosen Johnny you can speak freely on just who you perceive the idiots to be, the six who missed out can look only at the ineptitude of the clown HR tool who is trying to make a name/future for himself for someone to blame.

Such a straightforward transparent process was destroyed by this dill alone.

Your last post highlights just why you will never be selected full stop.
