MELBOURNE, Australia - Four baby pythons escaped from a container aboard a passenger plane in Australia, leading to a search that forced the cancellation of two flights, the airline said yesterday...

The snakes have been identified as senior ex TN Qantas management and have been declared non dangerous to anyone who is not employed by Qantas.

Flying Twotters in New Guinea it was not uncommon to find them then curled up under your feet, (just little guys) the gingerbeers used to go on snake patrol if the aircraft had been standing a few days, pilots were bred tough those days!

One crawled out from behind the rudder pedals in a Partenavia near YBHM a couple of years ago.
