Not an unusual comment, though the thing is that most drivers B747 will happily land on 34L and use either of the high speed turnoffs which are at least a couple of hundred metres shorter landing distance than the full length of 34R. Same applies to the other end, 16L.
Did it in the -400 sim years ago, no problems.
