Kevin Pavlich 1932 - 2008
If you are using an Australian map or working in the mining industry today, spare a thought for Kevin Pavlich who is being laid to rest this morning in Sydney.
Kevin was a camera operator and navigator with Adastra Aerial Surveys. Kevin and many like him helped to map the nation using exotic aircraft like Anson, Mosquito, Catalina and Hudson. During his time on Mosquitoes, Kevin plied his trade within the lonely confines of the bomb bay. In later years, Kevin was the driving force behind a project to document the history of Adastra. This project has resulted in a website which is archived by the National Library of Australia and dedicated to Kevin's memory.

RIP Kevin
Sounds like a great bloke. I imagine who would have been able to tell a tale or two about some of the beaut aircraft he flew in.
as for making/ providing theinfor for the maps, I for one am thankful for people suchas him. Without it, we simply would be to enjoy flying nearly as much as we do now.
