Forget About Jhas
For those who have been pumping the JHAS bandwagon, please SEE QF advertisement in today papers. Will let you try to find the clue, ie got something to do with A380 recruitment,
Should put an end to all you JHAS suppporters and QF baggers, paricularly those who can relate to the neanderthal who goes by the name of knukledragger,

more QF bull****
Dont worry JHAS is in a much stronger position than QF just off the phone from MEL.and my info is that its just a QF wind up only AD i have seen was last weeks Australian AD for LAMES in LA and mentioned the intro of the A380.No ads in this weeks Aviation which would be the normal source for jobs or news.If you have some hot news from todays papers tell me where it is,and i will say sorry, but i would guesss its just a few Queen QF bees stiring the pot as they know decision could be on Monday. We will all know very soon, remember guys first service is MEL-LAX and QF A380 guys only working out of SYD that might hint to something.Phone me when you have the real result is in Cheers

its for "professional engineers" hate that term, but not for maintenance engineers, I feel melbourne JHS sydney qantas engineering, we shall see on monday but if Dixon wants to announce it it must be good news for qantas.I didt see Dixon announce the closure of heavy maintanence

Eba Viii
Word from the brothers in Sydney is that an offer has been made by the Company and the exec believes it is good enough to present
Those attending were told that speculating on a website such as this though could unravel the deal until it is officially announced on Tuesday
SO DONT F%$K IT UP BY POSTING BULLSH!T
Myself I am looking forward to when they come north to present it which I'm told will occur this week or early next week

You will find that the job ads today are for tech services positions if you read it properly.
Qf also advertised these positions in August but obviously did not get enough applicants. (I don't know where they think they are going to get professional engineers with aviation experience from on the wages that they are offering).
So MILSPEC I wouldn't be crowing to loud. My money is still on JHAS getting the contract for line maintenance.

LAME Positions LAX
I reckon this is just a beat up as well. Anyone who goes to LAX for the A380 will need B1 and A380 course, I don't think that there will be too many spare B1 LAMEs around at the moment. This is just QF teasing all who apply.
And JHAS did some recruiting thru Cadden Crowe last year. It wasn't all inhouse.
And the professional engineers positions always come up, I think they always ask for too much in these positions,eg Uni degree big jet experience interior experience, but the fact of the matter is that any engineer with the relevant qualifications has probably already worked for QF and left. So they end up with inexperienced people with all the best on paper qualifications in the world.
And professional engineers and QF,well QF will always have their own PEs on the A380 whether JHAS or QF win the contract. So these positions have no real impact on the contract MILSPEC.
At the end of the day both QF and JHAS have their guys in training for B1 and B2 so it could go either way.
I don't think QF will put all it eggs in one basket. They will want the flexibility of JHAS with the support of QF but they wont want to be held to ransom by the QF LAMEs with the EBA still up in the air.

Mr Fixit,
Last time i checked, Melbourne was south of Sydney.
Is your compass broken?
Maybe the needle was put on back to front?
or maybe you don't come from down south?

Glad some can read
Good to see there are some Lames who can still read as some have said this AD has no inpact on the everyday running of the A380 and i agree i think it will be JHAS looking after line and base in MEL. and QF looking after line and base in SYD.,which i feel could be good for both parties. All the major backroom stuff and major decisions will be with QF of course after all it is their train set.Lets hope all of us with an invested interest will get some slice of the pie Cheers guys

If JHAS do not have competition on the A380 maintenance, the cost to QF will climb faster than an F-15.
QF must have their own team maintaining the Bbus or suffer the consequences.
It must be from the start, if management do not see this they should be outsourced!
