I'm here and I read the forums regularly.

Equally there's a LOT of passion flowing at the moment so anything I say would most likely add fuel to the flames. Hence I keep my own counsel and await the quieter times when the dust has settled, nothing I say now will add any value whatsoever.

Its not a cop out, Rom knows the QF A380 will be shared by both teams. The Qantas boys should feel quite humble working shoulder to shoulder with the JH men and their superior wages.

humble

cougar, the A380 should be handled by qf. JH should be told to f off, and romulus offered the seat left vacant by DC. Who he picks as M's successor is up to him, but I think he may pick some one who knows what he/she is doing.

Grouter that goes without saying, but the reality is the JH engineers who ask the question what happens if we don't get the 380 have been told don't worry its not an issue we are in. QF are going down the track most airlines went down 10 years ago with 2 MRO's playing off on each other, and they all failed. What 'news flash' QF poised to stuff it all up again, no!

if jh get the 380 then they will have done a great job,if not it wont affect them as much, as i am sure the people they have trained hold other licences that are beneficial to their organisation.
if q misses out then the people thay have trained are left in a tenuous position as they will have to return to their previous positions.

for an aircraft that was meant to enter service over 18 months ago what a debacle it has been.

A380, qf & jh

cougar, I agree, but most airlines who went down this path 10 years ago had a ready assembled workforce (I have lived the contractor's life in Europe - it's not all it's made out to be). We are an island a long way from the rest of the world, so it is not that easy to push us out of the picture. We, from my point of view, should get this work or poss jh. I'm against jh for purely personal reasons (nothing personal, romulus, I just think qf should look after their own a/c)
qf are playing o/s mros against the mros in this country and that is my big problem. This is also driving qf's attitude in the eba negs.

Post To keep things rolling on

If QF don't maintain the Big Bus, it will come back and bite then on the butt.

Can't wait to see that!

Devil Engineered failure

You don't think the QF EBA was delayed for this long for no good reason.
Why did QF not want to negotiate all year.
Obviously they wanted the EBA to fail at this timing around
the A380 announcement, so they can blame the LAMES for
not winning the A380 contract.

They did not want it and now JHAS will win it, but at a reduced rate
because of the phony ACS bid. QF can blame LAMEs for the rest of
history when it was engineered this way by the crooks feathering
their nests with millions of shareholders profits.

Why would you work for JHAS? What with none of the benefits of QF like staff travel and the tool crib.
All the Qf LAMEs should be happy to have a job.

Staff travel? No good if you can't afford accomodation sunshine
Tool crib? Now I know this is a wind up.

Refer B1 training trouble post

Looks like the QF boys are havin a bit of trouble with B1 conversion training!
If they had of chosen the right ones to start with they wouldn't even need to do it!
I believe many of the JH boys are already B1/B2.
Howz the rest of the lads going Romulus?
