WOFTAM,

Flown HUD for years, no big deal training less than 4 hours in the sim then line ops. (after some ground training content)

RNP, any operator worth their salt trains their crew to a high level in respect to RNP during initial training.

Have it on good authority Jet* already do this and have beefed it up with an RNAV AR course about to be introduced in both ground training and the sim.

Along with the Electronic Flight Bag they are about to introduce, seems like this QF poor cousin has got their sh1t together pretty well.

Not really type specifc training so irrelevant when it comes to conversion /difference courses.

didnt think airbus 320/330s capable of RNP approaches/departures.

not so much a training issue, but an equipment issue.

anyone know if this is true.

Whats going to happen when a mob of training captains from JetSar go to Tiger? Will that slow things down?
Pay for the 787, wasn't that variation to the JetStar agreement with the intro of the A330 for Widebodies?
Isn't the 787 a widebody?
Hearing rumours that mates will be looking after mates with the 787 ,even if they don't have widebody command time, ABSOLUTELY!
As for the dummy spitting individuals leaving the Rat for oranger pastures,
how many are ex-AN?

They are all ex-AN as far as I can tell. They aren't leaving either, just availing themselves of the MOU, which lets them go back to QF if necessary.

It must be good to have AIPA to blame for all your woes in life. Pity that bears no relation to reality.

I don't think you have a clue what RNP is my friend. You seem to be confusing it with GNSS. How long have Jetstar's A320's or A330's had this capability to do RNP procedures?
Also a 4 hour HUD endorsement would have to be a "mickey mouse" version.

Watchdog #12 post

Watchdog,

Is there a link to the Jetstar widebody EBA?

I'd hazard a guess not.

Nonetheless, I am interested in the package and have made good an application.

Not sure how B767 and B744 time qualifies, though.

I hear most of the Trainers have already been selected.

Just a rumor.
