APA sets eyes on British Airways
Friday, 18 May 2007
Rumours are circulating about Airline Partners Australia (APA) interest in buying out British Airways.
In a report from London overnight, shares in British Airways gained 2.35 per cent to 501.50 pence on the London stock exchange on Thursday.
According to the report, the rise in the share price comes ahead of the release of British Airway’s annual results today.
This speculation comes after APA’s recent failed attempt to bid for Australia’s Qantas Airways.
