Skywest Announces Senior Appointments

4 April 2007

MEDIA RELEASE

Skywest Announces Senior Appointments

The Board of Skywest Airlines has today confirmed several senior appointments.

Mr Paul Daff has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Skywest Airlines Pty Ltd.

Mr Daff comes to Skywest with over 12 years aviation experience and was most recently the Head of Commercial at Jetstar Asia Airways in Singapore. Victorian born, Mr Daff holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and a Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie University (Sydney).

Mr Hugh Davin, has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer of Skywest Aviation. Mr Davin was previously the Head of Business Development of Skywest Airlines. Skywest Aviation is the business division of the Group focusing on meeting the scheduled charter air transport needs of the booming resource sector. Mr Davin is one of Australia’s most respected aviation executives with 37 years experience in the air charter industry.

Skywest chairman, Jeff Chatfield today welcomed the appointments, saying that the Airline’s growth underpinned the need to strengthen the senior management team.

“These appointments align the management of the Group with the two business areas that are growing rapidly. Skywests key strategy is to provide excellent service to the travelling public and the resource industry.

The changes provide the business with both strong operational and strategic experience, that we are confident will take the Company to a new level of growth,” Mr Chatfield said.

These appointments are effective immediately.

I got a good idea, lets split the seniority list into aviation and airlines. That should be fun. At least Mr Daff has got things really moving at Jetstar Asia....pause............................................not !
