From the terms and conditions Qantaslink FA's receive, it's not a wonder they aren't as "well travelled" as their longhaul colleagues.
The answer is simple: They can't afford to travel. Conditions less than half what mainline cabin crew earn.

OK, so what are the general thoughts on this:
Should we allow some sort of 'profiling'?
Let's say that some event involving Calithumpia and Upper Kumbukta West aggrieves the Calithumpian diaspora and certain elements of the Calithumpian community make it known that they wish harm upon Upper Kumbukta West, people therefrom, countries which are friendly towards Upper Kumbukta West and companies doing business with Upper Kumbukta West.
Hence we have a self-declared pool of potential trouble-makers, although clearly not all ethnic Calithumpians agree with what has been said by one of their number.
Would it not be logical to pay just a leeeetle more attention to Calithumpians getting on aeroplanes?
