While you're at it Dick. have a look at Williamtown! The place that wants services from all over the country but closes down the tower for weekends and public holidays and any other time that golf is more important!
Head out there one weekend Dick and watch the morons avoiding fees by flogging around and saying nothing on the radio!
The joint reminds of the Birdsville race weekend only without the ATC and big planes with lots of people on board!

I think the poster is trying to compare Dick and Bruce Willis (in Die Hard 2)

He get down the end of the runway with two flaming torches and guide the aircraft in....

Weekends? Try from 3pm often. 2 distinct bursts after that. Usually 3 jets (sometimes 4) and 2 or 3 Dash 8s with a coupla metros and a duck, an Aero Commander and a chieftan or two, sometimes a C130 and a pig. All sweet. IFR traffic is.........

Don't you be talking bad about Wllie town ATC. They are one of the busiest for military aircraft!! Just imagine a formation of 4 FA/18's followed by a formation of 6.. (that's right people.. TWO landing clearances!) gets logged as 10 moves!

My favourite is calling inbound and them going MBZ on short final!

Marauder,

What you describe is nothing more or less that economic rationalism and Affordable safety, both of which Dick champions in the aviation world. I'll bet you he won't say a word, unless he needs the publicity now he's got some competition for President (Pete's never going to be PM so he may as well have a crack at Pres!).
