Mass Quarnatine At ADL International
This just out on ABC News:
Hundreds of people remain in quarantine at Adelaide Airport in South Australia as emergency crews investigate the source of a yellow powder found over passengers' bags.
John Kerrison reports some passengers dis-embarking from a Singapore Airlines flight just after 7.30 this morning found yellow powder over their luggage on the baggage carousel.
Airport officials immediately quarantined most of the arrivals area.
A Fire Brigade official says hazardous materials experts are going to the airport.
An airport official says passengers on other incoming international flights are also going into quarantine.
Any one in ADL got any news??

Reuters:
The Federal Government has introduced radical changes to the Quarantine laws in order to weed out citizens who wish to visit Adelaide...Once the affected citizens are isolated, they are then transported to Nauru for processing.

I know this is a week old news now...but does anyone have anything to comment about the "great work" on how Airport management dealt with this situation pfft, yeah right.....
"the scare resulted in more than 500 passengers from three international flights being kept in rooms without toilets, few chairs and no water for up to six hours.....While airport staff were pleased with the way the incident was handled, passengers complained about being held without any amenities and called the process a disgrace."
Now Seriously.... Even Criminals get better treatment than this! I have friends who are cops, and they said it's absolutely disgraceful..if they held a person for that long without giving them anything, they'd be hearing Law Suits Galore! Im surprised AAL aren't being sued or getting more complaints!
Anyone care to comment?
