VALE: DEAN DARCEY
A very well known Air Traffic Controller who served many years in PNG at both Lae and Port Moresby collapsed and died whilst playing a game of tennis with friends last Saturday 11 March and quick, professional medical support failed to revive him.
Dean will be sadly missed by his many friends in golfing, tennis, squash, music, being a rather talented person known for his laconic wit. Dean also was a poet of repute and author of well known PNG events such as 'Joe's Jolly' and 'The Moresby Gliding Club'.
The funeral is to be held at Centenary Memorial Gardens, 353 Wacol Station Road, Sumner, next Friday 17th at 10:30 am.
