A comparison of conditions.
The boss of Queensland rail was on the radio this morning stating that coal train drivers working in central Queensland received salaries of up to $100,000 a year and in some cases even more (apparently they earn more than suburban drivers to compensate them for longer periods away from home).Nothing against those guys but lets hope that we can all band together and try to improve our conditions in all parts of this industry, not the other way round as seems to be the case with the rumoured conditions being offered by Jetstar International.Otherwise i fear young people, when choosing careers will just laugh when they hear the word aviation............
