Hmm- trust good 'ol Baxter from Flying Magazine to write his own obituary - 20 years early to boot!

About 15 years ago I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr Baxter at Camarillo airport in California.
He was flying an old german taildragger (model eludes my mind at the moment).
A gentleman of the highest order.
