Data, there are words one could use here (if one were uncouth), which are part of the Aussie vernacula and which may not be acceptable in our Fearless Leader's forums, dictated by the Queen's English.
However, there are words which may be used in our Fearless Leader's British forum (if one were uncouth), which may not be used in this forum, dictated by Woomera's Dunnunda Rules.
And all the children gathered around know precisely what I am referring to.

My pleasure Kaptin
Did this thread temporaily go off the radar this morning or is it me going ga ga.
I put my ground itinerary together yesterday Kaptin & I don't know why those people in the tour company said I'd hit Hanmer Springs on the 19th December cause by my estimations I won't be heading there till the 31st December, I'll be there for New Years day should the company not change the scheduling for next year. So if you can make it let me know & if there's any change meantime I'll let you know. Cricky I know, its lousy timing.
Sorry just saw your question Kaptin. No, I've a pure Irish background born & bred. I've a half sister (& ex EI FA incidentally) in Oz who's married to a very handsome Irishman, my schoolfriends just to swoon over pics of him & he old enough to be their father. She has two grown up daughters & the're all based in Brisbane I think still, after living all over Oz (well Perth & Sydney) including a long spell in Noosa. But she's on 'the other side' & I won't be visiting her nor would I be welcome when I visit Oz unfortunately. C'est la vie.
Raw Data
Be nice now! I'm a visiting your country this year.

I will assume that whichever of you replied is very drunk.
Either that, or you are unfamiliar with the concept of irony.
In either case, I thank you for your patronising reply. I am still unclear as what the f***ing h*ll you are on about, but still, it's kind of fun.

You are? Well, look there's still time. Give us your real name and we'll advise immigration accordingly...

Ritual spearing administered and peace pipe smoked after a friendly discussion of the not well understood notion that we are often divided from our cousins by a common language.
Visiting Canadian mate ex VP IFALPA who was sent down here "then" and who looked after my eldest daughter on a Rotary Intnl Scholarship for a year much later on, was staying with us at Christmas just recently.
Asked what he should bring for the beach, was told "stubbies and thongs".
He sorta got the stubbies right and bought a carton on the way from the airport but was very emabarrased that he didn't have, nor would his lovely wife wear a thong.

Tinpis; I'm curious too! WTF is a PNG clip joint??
I was a good boy when there and did'nt frequent places of ill-repute.....'though come to think of it, the Club Dero could have sometimes passed for one.
You only live twice. Once when
you're born. Once when
you've looked death in the face.

Just having a little fun with you. you know, poking the borax. Winding you up. Apparently nobody got it. Odd, for Aussies - usually the very first to take the p*ss.
Anyway the allusion was between the hardened men of the "89ers" and the hardened men of PNG.
Think about it....
