jack knife

I happened to be in Melbourne on Monday the 8th of November at about 1:20pm when a British Airways aircraft under tow by I presume Qantas engineers, had to hold position because the "tow-bar had sheered." When I saw the aircraft the tug was at right angles to the direction the 747 was headed. Anyone have any additional info on what happened or if anyone was hurt. I only logged on first time today for a while and was surprised it hasn't made an appearance. It didn't look all that healthy!

No appearance because it's a non event - common occurence. Shear pin is designed to shear ot avoid an "event"
