Good point, High Altitiude.
There is much exposure. With pax in lounges looking at all the pretty planes etc. Look how much advertising happens in the terminal. They must think something is in it!?
I know of a few airlines that aren't LCCs who advertise on headrest covers and tray tables. I think it is a but tacky but JQ seems to want to do that. What's next? Removing the seat recline? Or the window blinds?
Management told us a few times in their roadshows they weren't interested in 'cheapening the product'. So if this isn't cheapening - what is?
Or are they just too tight to cover the expense? It's a shame 'coz I rather like the JQ livery. Nothing would surprise me. They didn't even install slimline seats in the 8 a/c that didn't have them. The old Impulse seats (with mega recline) combined with 30" legroom is just not working for the pax.... But it must save a few $$.
What's that saying? Spending money to make money?
