Lightbulb Air New Zealand To Operate Domestic Flights In Tonga.

Following the collapse of Royal Tongan, heard a rumour that Air New Zealand are planning to operate domestic flights in Tonga, using a Beech 1900D.

Anyone heard this, or can confirm?

Was enquiring about tourism in Tonga with ANZ yesterday. They said they could get me there, but that there were no internal flights.

Lightbulb

That is currently true.

However, the person that told me Royal Togan were ceasing all operations, and I posted the earlier thread here about it which turned out to be true, now says that Air NZ may operate internal flights in Tonga soon, with a Beech 1900D.
