Cost savings in NAS - what are the facts?
NAS will be five months old next week - surely enough time for the massive savings to have filtered through to the GA industry. In fact, by the Willoughby report's reckoning it should have been over $30 million by now.
I'd like to hear from some GA operators about how their bottom lines have changed in that time. Who'd like to start?

The massive savings haven't been seen yet because the 'end game' hasn't come into play.
We see this at NAS Stage 87xxa where DTI is removed. THEN, if someone wants DTI, they pay for the ATCO's required to run a Class E airway to the place they require. Since no-one wants to pay, only at this stage can you start to reduce staff.
Ask yourself why there are continuing NAS project stage meetings!
G'day
