Frequency Planning Chart AIC

Has anyone else read the AIC H4/04 dated 18 MAR 04. Due to the ongoing confusion about which frequency you should be monitoring in either G class or E class CASA has put out a new planning chart similiar to a PCA to make it easier to workout the appropriate frequency for the area you are in.

I had to laugh when I read para 2.5 which says
"Any potential conflict with another aircraft should be advised immediately to that aircraft or to ATC,as appropriate.Pilots operating in Class E or Class G airspace should be aware that other aircraft may not be monitoring the same frequency."

Then para 2.6 says "Aircraft equipped with dual VHF radios should plan to operate continuously en route with one radio tuned to the appropriate frequency for traffic monitoring."

Remember the old days (about 5 months ago when everyone new which frequency to be on.)

If it ain't broke don't fix it or leave it alone.
