Sprocket, that happened last Saturday. The terminal was evacuated for 30 mins. due to smoke from an overheated monitor in departures.

Gidday OzEx, it sure gives one a bit of a start when the alarms sound but I made sure the women and children didn't have a chance to get in front of me!

Hotdog, it happened this morning while moi and family where waiting at dep lounge #7. No explanations were given for the evacuation, although, after we boarded the crew apologised for any inconvenience even though it was an airport security issue.

Im guessing it must happen all too regularly.
