Boeing Finally Committed to New Jet

Boeing confirms it will build the 7E7 Dreamliner
Associated Press reports that Boeing will introduce the 7E7 Dreamliner into the market around 2008. Seating between 200 and 250 passengers with a range of 8,300 miles, the 7E7 will come in three models and is intended as a replacement for the 767 and 757 aircraft. Significant use of composites and advances in technology will allow the aircraft to realise fuel economies in the order of 20% over similar aircraft.
'Bout time Boeing pulled their finger out and gave Airbus a run for their money.
