What about...

T.A.C.T.L.E.S.S.

Stands for:

The Airline Causing The Latest Employee Strike & Strife

The next airline pilot "dispute" seems to be coming closer by the week...

Cool

You could try SLUT (in opposition to Virgin).

I like SkankAir - gotta keep in theme with targeting and outsmarting Virgin.

And the appropriate slogan:

Unlike our competitor, we've got heaps of experience...

Their aircraft type:
Sl*tbus A-320

Whatever the outcome, will make for interesting reading.

And then if they go down like Compass (Mk 1 & Mk 2) and then restart they could be called:

FAR Q 2...

I really should be studying.

Hmmmmm

How about "Vegemite Air"?

Or to keep with the native animal/roadkill theme, "EMU"

If they go belly up, they can re-name it "Emu Bitter"

Then of course there is always "JOEY AIR"... as in the baby kangaroo.

OR... to really set the cat amongst the pigeons, what about "ANSETT" ?

I rather like 'Joey' - its quite a cute name.

But leaving that aside how about

'WALLABY'

Its like a flying Kangaroo - but not quite.

How about:

BUS.

Nice and simple. Cheap and gets you there. All the glamour of public transport.

(Yet to see a bus screw over it's employees though... What they are doing is all bad.)

How about---------

------"PERJURY AIRLINES"

It will be quite apt for the marketing promises to precede start up.

ditzyboy, if i am not mistaken Wolff Olins who were behind the creation of the Go brand for British Airways, had originally tried to persuade the team behind Go to call it "The Bus". Barbara Cassani however said she didn't want to be the CEO of an airline called the bus because it sets the wrong ideas about flying. Even though we all know flying is like a Greyhound anyway, she didn't think it would give a good image.

Personally, I think quite a good name though would be to call the airline "Whore" - the real no-frills experience.
