I was stoked to see my mooney just before touchdown, shame they didn't get my landing.

Loved the pilot briefing in the JFC pax lounge....gave it such a professional touch......B******T!

Seriously though, NAS is a disaster waiting to happen. Its great to see some press coverage on this issue. Dick Smith should stick to flogging biscuits and matches.....keep him outta aviation!

I trust this is not a dig at JFC at all. I can assure you that the briefing was conducted as an chance for alot of Licensed/soon to licensed pilots to get there head around the changes and give them confidence in knowing that they will be safe when flying after 27th November. The media was not at all organised or expected as far as Im aware, just by pure chance.

If you are going to question a companies professionalism for doing the right thing then you have a big issue mate.

Also an article in yesterdays Sunday Times. The headline was "Air reform 'endangers WA pilots'"

No not the sky itself, just some of the contents of the sky that will be falling, once these ridiculous changes come into effect.

Anyway talking on here has made no difference, and the changes will go ahead and we'll see who says they told us so. I hope for the sake of the pilots that it is the VFR/"I wanna fly everywhere for free and talk to noone" that are able to tell all us that you told us so. Somehow I don't think so though.

Whoa take it easy Healy. I didnt mean to have a dig at ANYONE.

Just thought it was funny that the meeting happened where it did. If the press arriving was coincidence then fair enough.

If you care to re-read my post you will see that I am AGAINST NAS and agree that it is a can of worms.

Only just saw the ad for the news article from the video of last saturday's rugby which I have just finished watching.

Laughed at the usual WA-centric language in the ad. "Airspace reform may lead to a mid-air over Perth".

Never mind the rest of the country!
