QF adds CBR-PER nonstops

QF starts daily non-stop PER-CBR service on Feb 4.

Seems QF might be appeasing the pollies to get their support for something or rather.

One wonders if this is a commercial decision or has it been quietly suggested by the Minister for Qantas.

It's unlike Qantas to avoid sending CBR pax via SYD

You can bet that's one route that'll never go to QF Lite (aka Skimpy the starving kangaroo).

I can't think of any politician that would accept an economy class seat for a 4 hour sector.

Red face

Hey, it sounds a good idea, but after flying the A320 for many years (which when compared with a B737) would generally perform a little better in the heat. On a 30 degree day in summer off R/W35, to carry PER fuel, you would have to limit the ZFW to reflect about 70 PAX. Any 737-800 drivers out there that can enlighten me what your A/C could move out of CBR on a typical summers day?
