Fortress of Grace, are you ex TAA? I think you gave me your jump seat once from MEL to SYD? We landed on 07 and you gave your F/o (PF) a right bollocking after touchdown.

Hot Dog

Your German not bad but look at a Silesian dialect.

You wouldn't be much of a distraction in the jump seat I imagine.

If only I was a TAA Captain. I could have retired by now! Post 1970 birthdate I'm afraid.

Proplever, you post vitriloc diatribe like that and then profess to call yourself a PROFESSIONAL.

I don't need to say any more on the matter. You just proved my point.

Gnadenburg, thanks for the clue. So maybe your ancestry is not from Tarnowsky Gory in Poland but more than likely from Gnadenburg South Australia. Hill of Grace, undoubtedly one of the best Shiraz produced in Australia. Probably not a member of the Henschke family either as you would have retired by now in spite of not being an ex TAA captain. Cheers, HD.

Well, if we are talking Hill of Grace we are certainly in distinguished company here!

But a pilot?...Nah!!

Not a chance!

Wink

4 pages of prattle about nothing!
Which only goes to PROVE what a very clever marketing stunt this was, to have attracted the attention it has.

Suckers!!

Well, looks like you read it too, Kap!

Spermy, hang on a sec. Yours wasn't vitriolic diatribe? I merely expressed an opinion early in this thread. You decided to denigrate my opinion, which I am entitled to have by the way.

So, I replied in turn. I think my friend that you are a hypocrit who simply cannot spell, let alone stand the fact that someone else may have an opinion which does not align with your own.

Go back to your meage pay packet.

Show's over.

You're right, Props ( I did read it, too) - and not ONLY that, but replied to it (twice now!!).

As previously stated, damned clever, intra-reactive marketing!!

Kapt... correct. 4 pages of prattle about NOTHING. The original author posted about professionalism at Virgin, due to a advertising campaign kicked off at Syd. Some mind numbingly infantile morons then decided to turn it into a QF v's DJ thread (yet again!).

One clown in particular asked the question whether they were actually pilot's at the controls and then made reference to the CAO's/CAR's about legality. Only in Oz have I ever witnessed this type of brain dead diatribe. One can only imagine what they do in their spare time.

For the record and for those who really care about such a (breach of Australian professionalism).\

1. There were 2 (two) qualified and current on type pilot's at the controls at all times during the flight. (So we can avoid referring to those good old CAO's hey?, unless they don't allow pilot's to wear boxers!)

2. Yep they put on a pair of boxers over their pants. In the spirit of the advertising campaign they participated "as instructed in their brief from head office". I repeat for the little slow "as instructed from head office"

Prop, at no time have I ever engaged in anti QF behaviour. We have to work in the same environment on a daily basis mate, so it astounds me as to why some of you take it upon yourselves to assume you are the bastions of our skies. I have the pleasure of drinking with a few of your colleagues, fortunately they are not a bit like you.

WOOMERA . These DJ v's QF threads are becoming monotonous, pedantic and increasingly infantile in content and delivery. I (and many others) would like to see you intervene as soon as this type of garbage is initiated. There is little or no logical debate, just slanderous rubbish. I stand to be corrected but I see very little value in this kind of communication (or lack there of). It's one thing to have a bit of a dig and a laugh at ones expense, but something else to continually ridicule and deride the opposition, mostly with vacuous and foundationless drivel.

Your input is appreciated and I wait for your response.

Sperm breath? I think not!!!!!!!!!!!!!

proplever,

In the whole four pages (yes, I must admit I have read it) one thing catches my eye from you,

back to your meagre pay packet

In 4 years of wandering this forum I have never seen anyone make reference, or sling mud on this basis. Maybe a little below the belt; after all in this industry ( and it's certainly not over yet in the pacific) you are only as "illustrious" (in your context) as the next pay cheque !

UNbelievable

oh what a bunch of bloody childish babies. and to think you could all one day, or even now, be the captain of an airliner. jesus christ, you blokes need to come back down to ga for a week, in fact i would like to see that, you can come flying with me and be on my wage, put up with all the crap etc etc etc. i wonder how to pay the bills and you blokes go and get broadband so you can abuse each other, even faster.

and then you go on about how qf gets more than virgin in the bank..

and then you call each other knobs ( very intelligent )

unbelievable, this really shows why aviation in australia is such a crap industry at times, and how sad given its the best job in the world

Err, I think newbe has summed it up pretty well, really. Read back over the last page and see if you could disagree.

No he hasn't Binoss, how would you know??? See that's what I mean these guys come alo

abuse each other???

I think you're over-reacting a little you moron... ...

It is Our Lot as Airline Pilots to work very little and spend the spare time bitching and moaning and taking cheap shots at each other. We earned it and we deserve it.

It is your lot, as lowly unwashed GA rabble, to read about it on your pathetic 28.8k dial-up connection on which you can only afford to send the replies in burst-transmission, then log off again, and enjoy pleasant thoughts of when you will join us.

And if we go on strike, we expect you to get your arses out of the way so we can continue earning $$$ in GA jobs for a while til the heat dies down.

Now back to the topic, have you bought a set of VB Jox yet Newbe?

If you bought them when they first came out, have they stood up to the rigours of GA usage? Being poor, you'd probably have turned them inside out a few times by now, unless things have changed since when I was in GA.

By the way, stop bitching about tuff times with your "instant" 250hr MECIR, multi-type-rated, "frozen" ATPL all-in-1 package deal that ya dad bought.

When I were a lad 'twas a lot harder. None of tha' fancy GPS stuff for us. We had to draw our own charts (Maps to you..)

Been to the bush yet?
