Question Maccair redundancies

Is it true that 6 senior pilots were made redundant, so 6 Maccflight cadets could be employed. Are they still fighting it out in the IRC.

Thumbs down

Spinner head- what a load of bs. Are you really trying to tell me that if you were a F/O on a turbine you'd be sitting there twiddling your thumbs & not learning anything at all...? If so, that's all well & good (I guess) but I find it hard to believe.

Don't forget - just because someone's doing things differently to the way you did them doesn't necessarily mean they're doing it all wrong...

Spinnerhead, from the sounds of it that's all they would learn if they were flying with you.

All depends on the quality of the Captain they fly with, and the airlines approach to it all.

Unhappy Hearing date

Maaccair V 4 Cairns Metro Captains.
Industrial Relations unfair dismissal hearing, Cairns Courthouse Sept 28, 29, 30 and 1st October 2003.
All Welcome. Come and see the directors, Chief Pilot and General Manager get grilled by the AFAP. Hear all about Maccflite Cadet scheme. Should be a good show.
