Hi... 25 years FAA retired enroute sup/controller... are there any positions available in Qatar for ex-FAA enroute controllers or are they all ICAO approach/tower applicants they are hiring... visiting Doha in 2 weeks and trying to find info on ATC jobs in Qatar... thanks for any and all info...

There isn't an en-route facility in Qatar; you'd need Bahrain or Emirates for that.

Just curious, Dubai appear to have been recruiting very often on flight global over the past couple of years. Is there a reason for this?

Yes there is. They are short staffed... Not many people come to the ME for an entire career so a certain rotation is to be expected. Apart from that volumes have gone up quite substantially over the last decade and more butts are required in the seats.

Does anyone have information on the hiring process and package for tower jobs in Dubai (DXB and DWC)?
As far as I know there has been an assessment at the beginning of August. Has anyone been there? What starting dates are they hiring for and what is the story withe SERCO and DANS?
