Hát igen, miután ügyesen írtam, utána kezdtem visszaolvasni a posztokat... Akkor láttam, hogy voltak sikeresek (nekik nagy gratula!!!), és voltak kevésbé sikeresek (Fel a fejjel!!!)...

Akiknek sikerült, lesz továbbra is élménybeszámoló, meg mindenféle? Vagy nem fájdítjuk a többiek szívét? Hogy lesz, hogy tervezitek?

Remélem, most nem fogom elfelejteni a jelszavamat, és időnként bekukkantok hozzátok :)

Bárki számára érdekel. Láttam ezt a meghirdetett itt: skytest.com . Van valaki megvásárolta a megfelelő szoftver a HungaroControl értékelési és ha igen, nem segít?

As far as I know, you cannot install the skytest to another computer (it has a code, maybe it has a crack as well)... But based on my experience, and rumors of others, the FEAST is not cheatable and you cannot prepare yourself that much. What you can practice with the skytest, you can practice with other (free online) programs as well (read the Eurocontrol testing and interviews thread), but you cannot practice how to be stressed in this way...

Anyway you can write in English whenever you want, as it is a forum for people who want to be ATCs so should speak in English:)

As I understand it, we would like to request postings in English please, as it is the lingua franca of the forum.

There is nothing in the rules you sign up which says English is mandatory, however, to protect the website and enable the moderators to monitor posts for compliance, then it is an informal rule. Exceptionally, where we have a moderator who speaks the language, we will allow non English posts, as can be seen on other parts of the website. In the case of Hungarian, we don't currently have this luxury.

We don't mind if you post in BOTH languages, if that helps.

I understand your point regarding the use of english, but these posts are for Hungarian ATC testing and interviews exclusively. as the topic itself is quite serious and the commenting people (and their intentions) are quite serious I ask you that you trust us that we keep your rules and sort of moderate eachother, or if we cannot do so, we will report it to you. is that workable with you or do you insist on english languagae ?

we had received the first mail with the FEAST dates on 03.11. but these were pre-selection dates for march april and beginning of may. but im not sure that we will have pre-selection days this year also. the "real, live" selection days were in may/june. i guess it depends on the number of candidates. i dont know when the 2nd mail arrived because I had participated on the pre-selection, but I think it was somewhere in the beginning of may.

today starts the állásbörze at BME, im sure HC participates on that, so patience. i know it is hard now to have patience, but if you will pass FEAST it will be even worse :E

Still nothing... but the application period has been extended, for the second time. If i'm correct, first it was April 3rd, then April 10, and now they say that it's April 17 :)
So we still have to wait a bit... :)

that is lotsa more waiting, but what can you do.
btw, is there anyone else who wants to apply ? in google this thread is like 3rd hit.
or are they keep lenghtening the application period because noone applies ? I dont get it

and yes, they always extend the deadline... but i don't know what are they waiting for - there are some people from last year who passed the feast, aren't there? or you need to do whole stuff again - including feast?

I have passed FEAST last year, but for some reason I did not fit in the team, dunno why. anyways, my FEAST is still valid, so I dont have to do that.

by this time last year there were already hundreds of comments -they'd been erased, dont look for them- and now... there are 2 more people commenting.

And finnally the time comes ^^ About a hour ago i've got the message with the FEAST dates ^^
I've applied for the first date, april 19th, will anyone come on this day too? :)

I' ve just discovered this educational/job opportunity! I' m new to this forum so I' ve got some questions:

1. If I fail on the FEAST test, can I try it later again?
2. Does everybody gets invited to the test who sends his CV in?
3. If someone gets through the whole process including the final exams after the 2 year training course, will he get the job immediately?

I'm not sure about the answers for your questions, except the first.
As they said, if you fail the FEAST, you cant try it again ever :(
According to the 2nd and 3rd question, i don't know the answers, maybe someone more clever than me, will answer it :)

Hi!

As far as I know you will be invited to write the FEAST test, if you have sent your CV and all the other necessary documents (copy of the language exam result, and your school leaving exam (érettségi)).

Also when you will sign the contract, there is a point in it, which says that you cannot leave HungaroControl at least for 5 years if I am right, otherwise you have to pay back your training cost. So yes, this means, that if you finish with the training, you will have a job.

if you mach the given conditions, than you are invited to take the FEAST. everyone of us. conditions are:

>= 20 years of age
english degree
GCSE (érettségi)
thats it.

if you get to be in the training session, the 2nd year of this training is the on-the-job training, so when you are through you get your job instantly from day to the other.
but it is a long, long way yet

if you do a little maths: we were offered 20 FEAST days. on one day max 12 people can go. a simple multiplication gives me that there are max 240 candidates then. that is not too much, I mean last year I think there were a lot more. or there is something not ok in my logical reasoning.
