Thanks for Weather Avoidance Vectors

Thanks to the lady controller at Humberside who carefully and kindly vectored me round the worst band of thunderstorms (forecast as isolated!) I have encountered in a PA28, Sunday before last en route from EGNT-EGSC.

I gather that an A320 had to PAN back to EGNT shortly after my departure after a lightning strike.

Thanks very much for helpimg me avoid that.

A grateful GA pilot.
