Thumbs up Many thanks to LHR ATC

Thursday 12 June saw around 25 GA pilots visiting UK AIS at Heathrow. On behalf of all of us I would like to thank the duty staff in the VCR and in Thames Radar for taking the time out to accommodate us and to explain what was going on.

The speed and precision in the Tower was impressive and watching the arrivals being pulled off the stacks and sequenced in to the approach on radar absolutely fascinating. We may not have seen you guys actually doing it but we certainly saw the results.
