LHR Tower to relocate

In november of this year when Thames Radar leaves Heathrow tower the tower operation will follow to LTCC. As the new ASMGCS equipment has shown LHR ATCOs no longer need to use windows.

It is hoped that in future ATCOs at LHR will be allowed to work from home with the radar pumped via broadband to their PC.
