Carp for sale!!!

The very mature carp in the lake at the dome are to be sold off in a bid to raise some cash. There are also move afoot to make a UK version of "Pushing Tin". Watch Managers have been asked to nominate suitable candidates. Anyone got any good suggestions?

I have just paid £95 to renew my angling permit. Why dont we just leave the carp where they are and start the Swanwick Angling Club?. Those carp are worth £95 of anyones money!.

or Vectoring tin all over the sky in order to get it in trail
or Issuing slots to tin which they will just bust anyway
or repeating instructions over and over again to dozy american tin

People pay to fish for carp?

Yegods, we have more European carp than you poke a stick at in our inland waterways and lakes. They are officially vermin in most places and anglers must kill them on capture and not return them to the water.

I can see a business opportunity here.

Carpe dollar, so to speak.

Sep,

Vermin? VERMIN?

Sell 'em to Hong Kong or mainland China for fish maw soup, you'll make a fortune. Honest!

Does that make "carpe diem " the fish of the day?

I do know that some enterprising souls do catch the useless things by the tonne and grind them up for fertiliser.

Fish soup you say.....hmmm

And here was me thinking that our friends in Hong Kong only fancied such things as live coral trout and suchlike.

4711, on that basis, I suppose carpe blanche means "all the fish you can eat."
