applying for Oz ATC..

gidday all,

I have done a bit of a search around D+G and found that applications and info are handled through the selectnet website.

I was unable to find an application page. Does that mean you are unable to apply unless they are actively recruiting...??

If so, does anyone have inside ideas on when that will occur..??

thanks for your time.

I think they are taking applications continuously now but are only accepting about 20 or so trainees per year (heard on the grapevine). There is testing and interviewing maybe every six months or so.
I believe that you log onto selectnet and then do the online testing and it goes on from there. Haven't logged on myself so I'm not completely sure.

Why would ANYONE want to work for Airservices Australia. Is that what they are called this week?

You would work for AirServices to get trained and get 5 years experience so you could move on and work for a decent ATC provider.
