Post Why become an ATC?

Can all u ATC's out there tell me why u became an ATC, im filling in my application form and am having trouble with saying why i want to become an ATC. I know why but am having trouble expressing myself on paper. Can anyone please help?

I think it would be better if YOU provided the answer. If you want the job bad enough you'll have plenty of reasons. If you can't think of a reason you ought to think about another career...

Why do you want to become an ATCO? The question isn't why anyone else did but why you do!

Money?
Prestige?
Power?
Good job?
Responsible?
Profession?
Etc.
Etc.

Surely you know why you want to be an ATCO instead of asking people "Do you want fries with that?"??

Once upon a time the answer was easy.
These days I see no point.

Go flying!
Give UK ATC a miss or look to Eurocontrol if you're that keen.

U lot r right the answer should come from me, after a lot of thinking i have now answered the question myself.
