Lightbulb Switzerland ATCO enroute hiring

The Swiss ANSP is looking for experienced ATCOs. Basic requirements: Age below 35, basic+ level in German or French, 3 years experience in a complex enroute environment, able to meet medical standards, willingness to integrate socially. Location Geneva and Zurich.

it is against the law (EU) to discriminate (requiring certain age is discriminatory). I hear my generation ATCOS, which moved to Sui 20 odd years ago, were happy to retire this year. And many more are keen to. So there you go.

Do you think I don't know that? But do you know how tight the connection with EU in fact is? Many EU regulations were adopted in Swiss legal system...
