Air Traffic Control Stress Mitigation Facebook Group
For any controllers - active, in training or retired - we have started a new Facebook group: Air Traffic Control Stress Mitigation. The founders of the group are Helga Jensdottir, retired controller from Iceland and former ATC Instructor in the Czech Republic, Rich Smith retired USA FAA controller and former ATC Instructor at the FAA Academy and Cath Smith, 52 year veteran of married life to a controller, who works with ATC Family issues.
The purposes of the group are to 1) Engage ATCOs in a discussion of stress and stress mitigation, 2) Present a forum for experts in the field to present up-to-date information, and, 3) Allow families to discuss stress related issues in regard to living with a controller.
