AsA has a history of 'reinterpreting' the contract to try and gouge the conditions. They run off to court every 2 weeks to try and revise it downwards.
After negotiating the latest contract (which has taken nearly 2 years- and IMHO was completely inadequate), it went to the vote. During the voting period, AsA started sending out the 'reinterpretations'. Revising the score after the final whistle was blown and the 2 teams were heading back into the pavillion.
Things like- We will give you 3 days personal leave to use at your discretion if your sick leave is less than seven days p.a.
Reinterpretation: That will, of course, be at a managers' discretion.

The staff, and the union, are somewhat disenchanted.

Well done AsA. True to form.
