Unknown traffic in Class E+TMZ

For IFR traffic receiving a service in Class E+TMZ airways, are controllers allowed to deem non-transponding contacts to be outside (i.e. below) CAS, and therefore not requiring separation, subject to plots not merging?

Yes. The fact that it's a TMZ means that you can deem it as being outside the limits of the TMZ. If it was only class E then you couldn't deem
whowhenwhy is offline
