EAA Airshow at OSH

It was interesting meeting some of our fellow controllers from Germany at this years EAA airshow held in Oshkosh Wisconsin as well as some of the pilots from Australia, France, and the UK.

We had one of the safest air shows to date, according to the news we had over 12,000 airplanes that were parked on the field on Tuesday and Wednesday, it is hard to imagine that many airplanes parked at one airport but they manage to do it every year at OSH and it is truely a sight to see. By monday, the last day of the show we had over 20,000 operations (landings and departures).

For those that couldn't attend this year, next year the EAA will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Flight and they promise that it will be the biggest and best EAA show ever.
