New climb clearance and ROC/ROD
Hello Guys, you are given a clearance to descend/climb with ROD/ROC restriction. Later, you are recleared for a lower/higher level without mentioning ROD/ROC restriction again. Does it mean you are free to maintain own rate or follow ROD/ROC given before? Why?

If the controller wants you to continue with the ROC/ROD restriction then it needs to be restated. Likewise, if you're told to be level by a point, and are then cleared lower/higher then you no longer need to make the previous restriction unless it's restated

"Expedite CLB to FL..../passing FL....?
Do you want us to Climb in the minimum distance or minimum time?
Might sound stupid, but there is a difference in the speed we select. And yes, some Instructors/Checkers are that pedantic.
