Well Done BHX tower
Overheard on the Radio Sunday evening.
BE 146 Holding at Alpha, two Dash 8s on finals.
BA Airbus comes onto twr freq crossing 24
BA " Speedbirdxxx we can go from Bravo if it helps"
BHX TWR " you can hold at Bravo but you'll be No2 for departure"
Pause
BA " is the other a/c also going to the North "
BHX TWR " affirm "
BA " Shouldn't we be allowed to go first as we're quicker"
And on and on it went as they taxied towards the hold trying to jump the queue. How do they have the cheek to spread rumours about the so called low cost carriers arguing with ATC.
Well done to the lovely lady in BHX tower for keeping them in line...
