Any problems on Saturday?
Yesterday was SLF on WW5532 FAO-EMA, finished up coming via Dublin and Liverpool into East Midlands because of ATC restrictions along the route, anyone throw any light on this? TIA

I vaguely recall someone saying "the flow computer has gone down again"... but I didn't pursue it. We were too busy with huge holding delays due to staff shortages at Heathrow!

cannot comment on the specific baby flight but such extended routeings have become much more common in the last few weeks-pays the approach man not to assume the inbound is going to appear in the direction they expect! also many uk outbounds now refiling FL210 or below to prevent big delays

I was one of the staff shortage in Heathrow Tower on Saturday afternoon. 5 ATCOs for 4 positions. It was mad but also good fun. One guy in charge of both runways at 7 in the evening!
We're getting T-Shirts printed up with "I was one of the 5 Warriors of ATC on Saturday 6th July"
By the way, cheers for the A1 spacing as per usual on Y watch.
