ATC Leeds East Airport EGXG
Anyone know what kind of ATC is provided at the former RAF Church Fenton base now renamed Leeds East Airport.
Back when it was a functioning RAF Base,I know they had a working ILS and PAR with radar provided by RAF Linton on Ouse. Anyone know what there is there now? or how they plan to develop ATC there?

Thought I'd read somewhere they were applying for CAA Licence. So maybe some type pf ATC service is planned. Also like Doncaster/Sheffield (was EGXI now EGCN) they will need new location indicator. Wonder what it might be ?

Assuming they would be allocated an EGN designator similar to Leeds, Humberside, DTV etc, the available letters (Wikipedia search) are;
D, I, K, P, Q and Z

...But then Sherburn in Elmet next door to Fenton is EGCJ so maybe they get an EGC designator.
Available then would be;
E, H, M, P, Q, T, U, X, Y and Z
