what's the managment like outside NATS? What's the morale like and how could it be improved?

exactly right. Lots of them in the towers commanding respect because they are part of a team. Shame on those who have their own agendas dispensing 'management' with a stick. They'll be asking for caps and badges next - yeh, like we can't recognize them now!
