DCL RT

Hi All,
Recently started flying regularly out of a field in the UK with DCL clearence as the standard method for getting airways- curious what is the required RT on reporting ready?

The ATIS dictates to report information X and aircraft type on first contact and this is included on the DCL request- the QNH isn't asked for and is part of information X. I've heard some crew report the DCL identifier which I suppose would confirm it's receipt and reconcile the callsign to the clearence? I guess my next RT call is...

Ground, ABC123, stand 1 (with DCL456?), requesting push and start?
Is destination or anything else required?

Looked in CAP413 but no further guidance is there unfortunately.. Would like to have a concise call like the one above but at the same time not miss any information I should give.

I'd be happy to hear.
Callsign, information, QNH, stand and the fact that you are ready.

QNH is a mandatory readback in the UK so we cannot accept the the QNH with your datalink request as being correct we have to get a verbal confirmation separately from the ATIS that you have.

I don't have a reference but I've been taught callsign, QNH and the fact you're ready is enough. The stand, atis and type is all checked in the datalink. However some operators are poor at entering the correct aircraft type which then needs manual checking. The ICAO code (ie what the flightplan says) is what the PDC wants, some operators enter for exmplae B757 instead of B752 or B747 instead of B744 which then needs checking via voice.

Where I work we don't get any information on the DCL identifier, other airfields might be different but I think all the major UK ones have the same efps and dcl system.

Thanks chaps, will make good use of this! Unfortunately CAP413 isn't so good at expressly saying what is and isn't required, rather then giving case examples, but did find the reference for a QNH 'readback' from an ATIS after Handover's point!

Yep, same at my place.

I'm happy with "Callsign, Stand, QNH, Request Push & Start"

I like having the Stand in there because it gets us looking in the right direction out the window a little earlier instead of having to scan for the strip first.
